The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed the death of a corps member at its orientation camp in Ede, Osun State.

According to his colleagues, who took to Facebook to mourn his tragic passing, Bright went to bed and didn’t wake up the following morning.
The Public Relations Officer of NYSC in Osun State, Funmi Okundaye, has confirmed the incident to Punch, acknowledging that Bright passed away in his sleep.
However, she refrained from providing further details regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.
“What you read is that a corps member passed on in his sleep? That was exactly what happened; there is no other thing to add. Nothing to add or remove from it,” Okundaye said.
