A video is making the rounds on social media that reveals the moment a Nigerian man cries out in pain as he reveals the state of prisons in Nigeria.
The video that surfaced online shows the overcrowded state of prison cells in Nigeria and by extension stirred reactions online.
Many have started expressing their utmost displeasure describing the government as inhumane and clearly do not add value to human life.
The voice in a recorded video however advises youths who indulge themselves in crime to retrace their steps by living the good life.
He added that what they are calling for is a heavy punishment rather they should cherish their freedom and one square meal in peace.
Part of the video shows how the overcrowded prisoners in the cell were served an unfilled single spoon of beans on a plate as the only food for the day.
A Twitter user identified as Dami Adenuga wrote; “The state of Nigerian prisons. This is inhumane , we clearly don’t value human life.”
