The Marlian boss claimed that Mohbad frequently experienced breakdowns and made threats to commit suicide at one point.
This happened, according to Naira Marley, after he called him out on social media and claimed that he was for his life. Mohbad reportedly confided in his boss about his problems, saying that only his parents could relate to him and offer support.
Naira Marley was pushed by Reno Omokri to give the recording of their conversation because he allegedly created one.
It’s important to remember that the head of the company once made a video of Mohbad’s parents pleading on his behalf. Naira Marley claims that the video was taken immediately after Mohbad made a suicide threat.
In related events, Naira Marley has offered to return to the country if his safety is ensured, although the results of the autopsy performed on the late singer’s body have not been made public by the Nigerian Police.
