Nollywood actress, Esther Nwachukwu, has disclosed that she had abusive relatives as a child.
The social media influencer said that the main cause of her extreme controversy on social media is the fact that she was not nurtured in a loving environment.
Esther is well-known for posting filthy remarks on social media and endorsing many social vices, including adultery, promiscuity, and other contentious issues.
She noted that if she ever became wealthy, she would stop being in the news and reinvent herself.
The actress stated this in an interview with Saturday Beats, her upbringing also had an impact on her romantic life.
She said;
“I am not doing it to grow followers on social media. I lost my Instagram page with hundreds of thousands of followers because of my controversy. I was raised in a bitter way.
I wasn’t raised with love. That is why I am this way. If I make money, I will stop being controversial. I did not grow up with my parents. I grew up with relatives, and I was maltreated.
In every relationship I have been involved in, I have always needed more love. I just want to be loved.”
Esther also insisted that she and married actor, Pope Odonwodo were having an amorous affair, and they were ‘very good friends’, but ‘he was not a straightforward person’.
Asked if she was the one who made advances at him, she said, “I cannot make advances at a man. It is a man who would make advances on me. He knows he cannot reach out to me (since I called him out), because I have blocked him everywhere (on social media).”
Nwachukwu further said that she was only joking when she stated that she preferred dating married men to single men.
