A video is making the rounds on social media where a female student gets teary as the University she is going to increases school fees from N25K to N200K.
The student of the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG) while at the protest with fellow students was opportune to get interviewed.
The lady during the interview cries out in pain as she expresses while adding that she doesn’t want to drop out of the University following the increase in the school fees from N25K to N200K.
According to the female student, most of her colleagues at the protest are the ones catering for themselves as she disclosed that their parents do not have money.
She added that even if she decided to do hookup, she can be able to raise such an amount of money for her school fees.
Getting into an emotional state, the female student breaks into tears while telling the Government to listen to her and her fellow students stating she and her colleagues are poor and can’t afford the N200k school fees.
In her words; “I don’t want to drop out from school l, They increased our school fees from N25,000 to a whopping N200,000, even if I am doing Hookup self how will I raise such money, Most of us are the ones Catering for ourselves in School, our parents don’t Have money”
