Controversial Twitter critic Daniel Regha has knocked BbNaija Season 5 winner, Laycon for releasing an album without having a single hit song.
Recall that the singer gained popularity after appearing on the reality show, following which he released his musical album.
However, three years have gone since the singer’s victory on BBNaija, and the rapper who did not drop a lot of singles since his win recently released an album.
Daniel Regha who opined that the strategy he employed was terrible took to his page to call out Laycon for losing his touch with fame and his music career and attempting to release an album before gaining sustainable fame.
He wrote;
“Laycon is a promising upcomer, but it’s not by “Awa fierce” or online hype, he should’ve built his presence as a musician before dropping an album. He has no hit single, his 2021 projects underperformed & his popularity has faded since after BBN. Best wishes though. No offense”
