Nigerian businesswoman,Banke Meshida Lawal, has taken to social media to lament the high cost of running a business in Nigeria.
Expressing her frustration, the celebrity make-up artist took to her Instagram page to bemoan the significant rise in the cost of basic living expenses.
She mentioned the surge in transportation fare, the increase in petrol and diesel prices due to the removal of fuel subsidy, and the proposed increase in electricity tariffs.
According to her, she is struggling to navigate the increases because it is a lot to handle at the same time.
Banke wrote on her Instagram page,
“Everything has Increased.
Transport from Yaba that used to be N500 as of this morning is N1,800.
Filling Our Tanks with Petrol has gone from
N12,000 to N37,000.
As Employers, What are we supposed to do Immediately? Because for Once in my life, l’m Struggling…
Diesel Prices have threatened to Increase.
