An old video of singer Asake working as a Nollywood actor has popped up online and by extension stirred several reactions online.
The throwback video shows that Asake who is now a global superstar has been hustling for a long time before he breaks into prominence as the clip narrates a struggling Asake trying to make his way into the move industry.
This video of Asake acting comes weeks after the YBNL singer narrates his humble beginnings where he said that he started as a dancer and he proceeds by teaching people how to dance.
From dancing he started learning how to play the keyboard, then he began to stay with music producers, from staying with producers to learning to do backups for people then from there he started doing his own songs.
However, in the old video that surfaced online, Asake bears the character “Solomon” who is being begged by a lady not to give up on his dancing career and exposed it to the world by showcasing it without allowing any inhibitor to hinder his talent.
Obviously Asake is now established artiste in the Nigerian music industry with several hit songs to his name. He released two hit albums within the space of one year and also filled 20k Capacity 02 Arena in the UK, putting the country name and the culture on the world map.
