Popular comedian Basketmouth Basket Mouth estranged wife, Elsie Okpocha, has urged singles to ensure that they get married to someone who is kind.
In a video that she shared that captures her giving the advice, she said that marriage still remains a beautiful thing despite the false narratives attached to it.
She noted that marriages may be tough, and each day, a hundred or more people leave marriages, but hundreds of thousands more get into them.
According to her, it’s not the institution of marriage that is the problem; rather, it is the individuals who sometimes change.
She said that kindness is one feature that stands out in marriages. Elsie urged people to get married to those who are kind, not just to them but to their family, friends, and significant others.
She said the reason why this is important is because when the couple fights, which is certain in marriages, the kind partner will always show care regardless of the problem.
