A recent video of popular Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha fighting with AI assistant, Alexa has surfaced online and by extension left mnay in stitches.
In the video, Chioma who is in the United States of America with her colleague, Uche Jombo fumes so hard after Amazon voice AI, Alexa couldn’t meet his demand.
Alexa is a voice-controlled virtual assistant that can check the weather, launch your favorite playlist, and everything in between.
While in the room with Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha is seen quarreling with Alexa following her failure to play the hit song “Ndi Ike” by Falz.
Alexa who is experiencing difficulty in playing the song was heard saying; “I would like to know what is wrong, give me more details, just say I have feedback.”
Responding to Alexa, Chioma Akpotha becomes more angry at the AI device telling her that instead of playing “Ndi Ike” by Falz, she kept on saying, Henrique.
Alexa further responded by thanking Chioma Akpotha for the feedback.
The efforts of Chioma and Uche Jombo in getting the song “Ndi Ike” by Falz were futile as Alexa failed woefully. They were later heard telling Alexa to shut up and get out.
While the Alexa device has become a household name in the USA and some foreign countries, it’s on the contrary here in Africa and by extension making it difficult to play African songs on it.
Captioning the video, Uche Jombo who laughs so hard in the video as Chioma tackles Alexa wrote; “Why can’t I have normal friends.”
