Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, prominent Nigerian celebrities, are currently facing backlash for their most recent video, which documents the process of purchasing a new casket for Mohbad.

Recall that during the discussions about Mohbad’s burial, many people expressed concern that the initial casket in which he was buried was too small, prompting calls for a new one, more fitting casket to honor the late artist.

However, what raised eyebrows among netizens was their decision to record the process of buying the casket. Some Nigerians questioned whether Iyabo and Tonto’s decision to document this private moment was driven by genuine compassion or a desire for attention and clout.

gistlover reported few hours ago that the CEO of Ebony Vaults, Dehinde Harrison, offered to provide several services for Mohbad’s burial ceremony free of charge, including a free hall, pallbearers, a horse carriage, and wreath bearers.

Reacting to the post;

Abeni had this to say,

“Is it necessary to record the act of commemoration? This isn’t me calling them clout chasers, but is it necessary tho’? Seeing those coffins just gives me chills

Dr Dípò Awóiíde had this to say,

“This is excessive. I doubt reasonable person will record and share a video of themselves shopping for a casket for their family member. This video should not exist and certainly shouldn’t be on the internet. This is very unfortunate.”

Fela Cas had this to say,

“Two clout chasers doing everything for the camera”

Osun è ku iroju I had this to say,

“I have once said it and will still reiterate it again. These people care less about Mohbad. They are all about clout chasing. With my over 4 decades on earth, I have never seen anyone do a video while shopping for a casket. It’s so griss. Haha”
